WEEKDAY ONLINE BIBLE READINGS & PRAYERS
8:30AM VIA FACEBOOK
We are reading through Jeremiah and Hebrews. We will restart these Monday 3rd June. If 8:30am is too early for you, videos are posted and available for you to catch up.
FRIDAY DROP-IN
10:00AM TO NOON FRIDAYS AT CHURCH
We are open every Friday to meet and chat over hot drinks and homemade bakes.
We often have visitors on the day, especially as the warmer, longer, brighter days are with us. Sometimes it might be someone on holiday or someone who is researching a family member. We always give a warm welcome and they are soon chatting away to whoever is there. Maybe that could be you, offering a friendly welcome and sitting alongside them.
Or why not come along this week and bring a friend?
d-day 80 commemoration
thursday 6th June from 6:00pm
The Normandy landings in 1944 was an historic operation that saw the Allied forces mount a large scale invasion of Nazi-occupied France that ultimately tipped the course of the Second World War in the Allies favour. Sadly, there were too many fatalities.
This year on the 80th anniversary we are remembering those heroes and will be taking part in RING FOR PEACE.
Our bell ringers will be ringing out for peace and will be joined by local visiting bell ringers at some point during the early evening.
Church will have special commemorative displays and we will be serving refreshments.
We welcome you all to come along from 6pm, listen to the bells, have a look around church, take time to pray, light a candle and stay for refreshments.
And, if you would like, you too can ring a bell for peace.
